Christina Peterson, MS, is a PhD student in Educational Psychology with concentration in Evaluation, Statistics and Measurement at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She is passionate about promoting sensible nutrition, inclusive communities and economic diversity through food system program and policy evaluation. Christina has completed a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Sustainable Food Systems and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. Her current research interests center around economic evaluation methods for community-based health promotion programs. Previously, she worked for a wellness education non-profit doing program evaluation and research on professional certification standards. She has worked and volunteered in many countries, including Singapore, Myanmar, Vietnam, Kenya, Spain, and Mexico.
